Unable to create labels

Hi there. One of our confluence users has reported the following (directly from his email):

Unable to create labels (just says error, no description)

Can only create blank pages, can’t create templates - Error says, We can’t create that blueprint right now.

Failed to add entry to the queue

I am going to go through and find more but this is enough to raise a ticket for now.

Similar behavior was eliminated by re-indexing from scratch in this thread: "Failed to add entry to queue" on adding a label to a page 

To further investigate, please look for errors in the <confluence_home>/logs/atlassian-confluence.log. If you see "Failed to read id for journal 'main_index'" please follow this article: Exception When Creating or Deleting Page

If you are seeing other errors in the log, and not "Failed to read id for journal 'main_index'", please let us know what the errors are.

Please let us know what version of Confluence server you are running.
