Unable to create a JIRA issue in Confluence

When I try to create a new JIRA issue in my page via the Jira Issue macro, I get the error below.  Its says, an Epic name is required even though I don't get any option to add an Epic name.

Does anyone have any ideas why the option to add an Epic name is not being displayed?

I am a newbie to Confluence so any help with  appreciated.

Hi @Nada , this is a rather old post but I want to check in with you to see if you are still experiencing this issue. I am able to successfully create issues using the Jira macro. If you continue to see this one question I would have are you able to create issue in that same project directly from within Jira? Just wondering if we might be dealing with a permission issue here.
