typing "(*)" should result in a yellow star icon. That worked until last week (or possibly the week before). It now results in "(" followed by a winking-face icon.
In addition, "(*y)" should also result in a yellow star icon, but it now results in a brownish star icon. The other colored stars, such as "(*g)" are showing the correct icon.
How can I get the previous behavior back? That was a frequently-used feature for me.
You link to the documentation is based on server/DC (on-prem installations).
Cloud uses colon to insert an emoji (:star: -> yellow star).
Are you on Cloud or DC?
We are using cloud. This changed in the past 2 weeks?

i might be you had some pages that where using the old Confluence editor.
This has been there for more then a year now, but you can't create new pages anymore using the old editor.
This has changes since October 2024.
