I have followed the recomenedation in this page:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/insert-links-and-anchors-724764900.html
To display a confluence page externally but there's no way, The only thing I get is a 404 - Oops you've found a dead link page...
What I have used is a https://....atlassian.net/display/wiki/Page+Name+With+Pluses
Originally I used a Named Anchor adding -PageName#Anchor but it didn't work also. :-/
Any advice would be greatly apreciated.
Kind regards
Copying and pasting the URL in the browser doesn't work? Or the tiny link under Page Information?
Hi Bill,
That works. In a incognito window it asks for username and password, normal behaviour I suposse.
Testing I have been able to link to an anchor using the "page in the same space" format, but what I'm really worried about and it doesn't work it's the external part using an anchor, for that I use the format
https://....atlassian.net/display/wiki/Page+Name+With+Pluses#PageName-Anchor
But nothing, 404, both in a normal window or an incognito window... Could it be because it's related to anoymous access to confluence cloud ?
Thanks for you help Bill

Hello Xavier,
If you want to link to pages (or anchors on pages) externally, it will work much better if you have anonymous view access enabled for the space. Otherwise, you will have to have accounts for each user.
For example for my own Confluence instance (which is server based), I created a public space to place this kind of info. Below is a link to anchor on page in this public space - it jumps directly to the anchor.
