ToC macro disables mentions after clicking on the link

I have a page that uses table of contents macro. When I click on any link in the macro, it transfers me correctly to the right section, but any mentions of users in all sections (@user) suddenly disappear. After hitting refresh button (the URL of the section), mentions return to their place. What could be done to handle this problem?

I believe it actually might be related to the following bug:

• CONFCLOUD-67072 Mention feature doesn't work properly

The example here is with links on the sidebar, but when the page is refreshed the mentions return. I would say this is the same cause as the issue you're experiencing.

Go ahead and log in to jira.atlassian.com if you haven't already, and click This affects my team on the bug. You will be automatically added to the list of watchers and be updated as soon as there are any updates.
