Hi Team,
Since a few days (~after 23.01.2025) "Time Since Chart" macro stopped working properly in Confluence.
Either when editing existing charts or when creating new - there is no way to add/edit data in the opened "Edit ‘Time Since Chart’ Macro" preview window (see the attached screenshot below):
Steps to reproduce:
1. Insert elements->Time Since Chart
AR: no way to add data to build a new chart
ER: dialog window inside "preview" to add data to build a new chart
BR,
Vitalii

Hi Brant ,
Thank you for your response.
Sure, I tried. The issue was reproduced not only on my side.
Since this gadget was an important part of our reports and no response for a long time, I've opened a ticket to Support Team. In ~ two weeks the issue was resolved though there was no definite root cause defined.
Moreover, I was informed that there are plans to deprecate Gadgets which is not the best news though they will be still available for existing instances and that's fine (more info in the confluence article "Use gadgets to add dynamic content" ).
An alternative "Jira Chart" macro is very limited atm. It suggests 2-dimensional chart with a limited number of fields to display:
Two Dimensional Charts can be used to show issue statistics in a matrix. You can configure the X and Y axes to display these issue fields:
Status
Priority
Assignee
Fix version
Component
Issue type.
I need a way to track weekly statistics on the number of issues created during the year. In "Time Since Chart" it is available. In “Jira Chart” seems - not.
X - weeks, Y - weekly number of issues created. Not available.
“Created vs Resolved“ gives some statistics but it is not the same.
In “Jira Charts“ - there are no week numbers even when “weekly“ option is set. Also need to have an option to hide resolved chart and have e.g. other options like active (means not resolved). And option to show chart as columns not the line.
All this info was already passed to the Support Team.
A detailed info about available gadgets is in the article "Gadgets for Jira applications"
For now, this request can be marked as resolved.
Best regards,
Vitalii Petrus
