The system log always show taskgated MacOS error: -67062

hans.chen March 8, 2019

I host Confluence on my Macbook Pro 2013 and macOS Mojave 10.14.3. I find the system log always show taskgated MacOS error: -67062. This error log could be stop after I stop confluence with stop-confluence.sh

Hi Hans,

Confluence isn't supported to work on macOS beyond evaluation. I would advise you to move onto a Linux or Windows server ASAP to avoid any issues.

  • You can evaluate Confluence on MacOS / OSX, but you can't install and run your production Confluence site on a Mac.

That said, is the error you're seeing in Confluence logs, or the Mac System Log itself? What problem are you having exactly that is related to this error? Do you see any errors in your Confluence Server Logs?

Regards,

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

Actually, it works fine on the MBP. I just find this error message in MAC system log and don't know why.

after survey, it seems like confluence didn't do the codesign on macOS.

In that case, you can probably ignore it for now, but I would encourage you to move to a supported server ASAP, since macOS isn't tested in production, you could potentially run into issues with future releases.

Take care,

Shannon
