The collaborative editing feature no longer lets you keep or discard a draft. Can that be reverted?

There used to be a pop-up that asked if I wanted to save my draft. In the new version, there's no pop-up, just a heartwarming assurance that my draft has been saved, whether I wanted it be or not.

Can this be reverted?

The online help insists there's a pop-up, so no help there.

The version is Confluence 6.8.1.

Hi Rebecca,

You may disable collaborative editing so the old editing experience is imitated:

Change the editing mode

This mode means that your team can only edit their own personal draft of a page. Confluence will attempt to merge any conflicts on save. This mode replicates the Confluence 5 editing experience.

Please also note:

Changing the editing mode is not trivial, and some changes can result in the loss of your users' drafts, so it is good to understand the implications of each mode.

The table on the linked page lists the "implications of each mode".

Thanks,

Ann
