Using Confluence 6.9.1 on-premise server.
When, after changing the title of the page, I add a new link to the page using the search feature in Insert Link dialog, the link text shows the old page title.
Steps to reproduce:
I have tried: clearing all caches, re-indexing content, restarting service, re-editing the link, re-editing the page title.
I cannot get the link to show the new page title - whatever I try. Happens with all pages tested.
Is this a bug or is there some way that I can get Confluence to update the link text?
In case anyone else has this issue: it was fixed on our installation today after uninstalling the Scroll Platform and Scroll Runtime add-ons.
We had trialled Scroll Versions some time ago, and uninstalled it as it didn't really do what we were looking for. We omitted to uninstall the base add-ons and these appear to been affecting the links.
I have a feeling that my issue is not very important to Atlassian

Hi David,
I used your steps to try reproducing the issue on Confluence 6.9.1 and Confluence 6.10. In both cases the link showed the renamed pages in edit and view mode.
Did your reindexing the content include reindexing from scratch? That procedure may help: How to Rebuild the Content Indexes From Scratch on Confluence Server
I look forward to hearing whether the links render as expected after removing and rebuilding the index folders.
Thanks,
Ann

Hi Ann,
I've followed the instructions in your link to remove and rebuild the index folders. But the previous link titles remain.
See this video of the steps above: https://davesparks.tinytake.com/sf/Mjc1MzIxMl84MjU4MDM4
See https://wiki.finalbuilder.com/display/continua/Publishers for a real world example - the links titled "Email Publisher" and "Hipchat Publisher" on this page should be titled "Email" and "Hipchat". The pages were last renamed on the 21st of June. See this video of these links being edited: https://davesparks.tinytake.com/sf/Mjc1MzI1NV84MjU4MjYy
Is there any other setting I should be looking at? Let me know if there is any further information I can provide to help diagnose the issue.
