I am creating a template with a variable that will be a link. I can't figure out how to format the variable in the template such that the text that the user enters turns into a link on the result page. I've tried putting brackets around the variable. I've tried including brackets in the value of the field on the form created by choosing this template. I can't figure out how to author the template such that the page created has a link. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Hi Larry, happy Monday to you.
I'll do some research and get back to you hopefully by the end of the day. I need to poke around a bit.

Thank you so much for taking a bit of time to help me. Again, I want someone to be able to type an entry into a template form field that results in a link on the resulting page. I appreciate any thoughts you have.

Hi Larry,
I've researched on and off all day on this issue and every turn has been someone else saying that this is not possible through templates.
I tested independently on my test space and was not able to find a solution either.
Hoping someone else can weigh in on here with a brilliant solution. I'll likely poke around at this for a bit this week to see if I can rig a workable solution together.
