Hi
There are some great templates for Confluence however one of the things we also want to use confluence for is release notes.
Looking at the release notes for confluence
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF43/Confluence+4.3+Release+Notes
They have a very nice design and style.
I have looked around and looked for a template to support this design, is this available somewhere ?
Atlassian most have this as a template internally.
Hallo Morten
I'm glad you like the design of the release notes. :) We don't have a template available for them, but if you like you can copy the source of the page and paste it into your own wiki. This has the advantage of including the images for the numbered items, which a template doesn't do.
To copy the source, go to the page a choose "Tools" > "View Source". Click at the top of the "View Source" window, then press Ctrl+A or Cmd+A to select all the content. Then paste it into your own Confluence editor.
Alas, you'll get all the extra words and attachments too, but it shouldn't take to long to remove them and adapt the page to your needs.
I hope this helps. :)
Cheers,
Sarah
Okay great, we will try that.
Do you have designers doing your screenshots or do you know of a great screenshot annotation tool ?
We have a range of developers all doing documentation and we would like screenshots to have the same look and feel.

Hallo Morten
The marketing team did the annotations in the release notes. I don't know what tool they used. We usually use SnagIt, which is great for standardising screen captures and annotations.
Cheers, Sarah
