Table of contents macro, not working

Albert October 26, 2022

Hi, I have an unexplained problem with the table of contents macro.

It doesn't show me the children pages I have.

I don't understand why it doesn't appear. Do you have any ideas? I've read other cases of errors with this macro, but I can't find a solution.

For example, I have 3 children pages here:

But in the macro, as you can see, nothing appears, even once published:

Thanks!!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The table of contents macro works off the headings on the current page, it has nothing to do with child pages.

If you want to list child pages as shown in your first screenshot, try the "children" macro instead!

I see... :(

With children macro, I can't filter. Is there an option to show only the pages I want? Instead of all

No, the macro is for all child pages, although you can limit the number shown (so if you moved the 5 child pages you want to see up the tree and then limited the display to 5, it would do the job)

Good morning, in the end I got what I wanted using CQL with the macro "content layout" :)

Thanks!!
