Previously, the status macro would just default the name of the color chosen. In the new editor in Confluence Cloud, which is what I think you might be referring to, it requires you type some text. At the least, you could include the name of the color as it had done in the past, or a single word, such as high, medium, low.
If you do not want to have any text there, then you could use something else in place of this, such as one of the productivity-related emoji:
