Starting today, users are no longer receiving notification emails when mentioned on a post.

Historically, when a user is mentioned using @ that user will receive a notification email informing them of the mention with a link to the post.

Starting today those notifications have stopped sending, I'm wondering if it is related to the new design layout that was pushed out today.

Notifications still show in the notification panel in the top right but that requires a user to leave up and continually check confluence. Somewhat defeating the purpose of the notification.
