I have created a new space, I want to isolate to specific users. However, the pages are unable to be seen. there is a generic permission for Confluence users, which I DON"T want to provide to this new group as I only want to isolate this specific room.

Can anyone please help.

Hello @Angela Garrad

If you´d like to set specific permissions for the particular space go to Space tools (bottom-left of the page) and there are Persmissions, where you can set rights for particular groups or users.

Best regards,

Hi Angela,

If I understand correctly, you have a confluence space which has been shared with a group of users. Yet these group of users say they cannot access the space.

  1. May I ask how the space was shared with these users? Individual usernames or you created a dedicated group and added them to it?
  2. Do the users already have access to Confluence or not?
  3. What permission don’t you want to grant them or has you worried?

With this knowledge we could have a clearer picture of what the problem here is.

Thanks.
