Dear all,
In Jira you are able to desable project notification , an we do the same in confluence for a particular space ?
The idea is that we have a specific space that we do not want to be able to send any notification either by using mention or watch and email
Is there a way to do this?
regards
This is not currently possible in Confluence Server/DC, and there's a feature request raised already - Block emails/notifications from a specific space
I would suggest you to vote for the suggestion and watch it for future updates. Watching it will keep you up to date with the report and voting for it helps to increase the visibility of the report.
Currently the only workaround is to add a filter at the mail server level which blocks emails which contain links to the space in question or create filters directly at the inbox.
@Kishan Sharma thanks for your reply.
Does the filtering of the space URL at email server will block also notification if user use mention feature in comments or page itself ?
regards
serge

Hi @serge calderara I believe all the notifications from the space will be blocked including @mentions on the pages/comments of that space if you add filter at the mail server. Unfortunately I can't test it since I don't access to mail server, I would suggest you to raise a support ticket to Atlassian to confirm this.

Page Notifications are managed at Space level and Page level.
If watchers are present at Space level, each of the page changes is notified to the watchers.
At the page level, the page watchers are notified.
There is an option to publish the page without notifying the watchers
