Looking to add smart links for powerpoint decks within confluence. Smart links seems to be the only way to do this but I don't have the admin rights to perform this task. It needs to be in a powerpoint pack due to the layout, process flows and diagrams.
@Danielle Cairns In coordination with the responses from others, see this page and the links available on it for more information: https://support.atlassian.com/platform-experiences/docs/smart-links-from-jira-and-other-products/
Note that PowerPoint is not listed in the supported apps, but I'm pretty sure that others have posted about how to do this here in the community. Try to search the forums for similar questions.
Can you elaborate more.
Anyone can use smart links in Confluence, there is no need for admin rights.
How would a Confluence function fit in poweroint?

Hello @Danielle Cairns
If the presentation can live directly in Confluence, upload the `.pptx` file to the page and use the Office PowerPoint macro, which only requires standard page edit permissions.
or if it must stay in OneDrive or SharePoint, paste the share link as a Smart Link.
Note that any admin approval prompt you encounter stems from Microsoft 365 tenant policies, so you will need to address this internally with your own M365 or IT admin to approve the integration. We as Community members cannot approve that or help you here.
Cheers,
Arek🤠
