Smart Button with self-created Flow

Is it possible to insert a Smart Button and then use a self-created Flow?

When I include a Smart Button I can only chose from templates. All these templates are not suitable for the applicaiton I have in mind. Also, the ones that are close to my desired application cannot be edited.

@Marc -Devoteam- is right. A Smart Button can currently use only one of Atlassian’s predefined Smart Button templates. You can edit the values within the template’s existing steps, but you can’t change its overall structure or connect the button to a custom flow you already created in Space or Global automation.

As a workaround, you can build your custom flow with a manual trigger. Users can then run it from the Automation lightning-bolt menu on the page, but it won’t appear as a button within the page content.

Atlassian is tracking the ability to assign custom automation flows to Smart Buttons under CONFCLOUD-79704. It’s still unresolved, so I’d vote for and watch it for updates.
