Slack notification if a file in file list changes/updates

Hello.

Yes, newbie here.  I have the slack channel notification working for a page or space, but was curious if there was a way to get a notification if just one file in a file list changes?

I have a page with a "file list" and I only want to update the slack channel if that file actually changes (update/removed, etc..)

I don't think you can do this, but I figured I'd ask you guys out here.

I really feel like this should be standard behaviour. I assumed Slack notifications of new/amended files would be basic functionality when I linked my Slack channel. I voted on that feature request but it seems like nobody's really bothered...

Hello Steve and welcome to the Community!

You have a great idea, being able to receive attachment edits via slack would allow certain workflows to reduce email clutter and allow for better visibility! With this said, you’re not the only one who shares this vision. There is a feature request to add Slack notifications for Confluence attachments. You may find the feature request at CLOUD-10715. We would suggest you vote and watch this request to receive future updates.
