Single variants displayed when published multiple viewports from a single space

Hello,

I am pretty new to Confluence and was very surprised (if I am right) that from a single space, I can't create multiple viewports that display all space versions but only one of its variants. At least, I can't handle it.
Now I am searching for a decision to this problem.
To summarize. I will have a versioning space for a Help page and some customer-specific parts within all the space (variants). I will publish the Help page with all space's versions on several separate URLs for each client.
Any suggestions on how to do this?

Moreover, do you know if the Show if macro, configured on a password, is usable via Scroll Viewport? I mean, instead of space variants, could I use the macro (space published via Scroll Viewport) as an info filter based on the website login credentials of the clients. And actually, the clients that will use the Help page will not have a Confluence account. So the password will be on the website level.

Hi Maria!

This is David from K15t, it seems like your questions involve a couple Scroll Apps by K15t.

The variants feature and how it's supported in Scroll Viewport is built around giving the user the ability to pick the correct variant for them. Single variants can be published to new spaces using Scroll Versions' publishing feature, but in that case, the new space will only contain one version, which it seems is not in accordance with your requirements.

The setup you described makes sense, but unfortunately cannot be achieved without using some type of workaround. Whether any workaround would be helpful for you depends on many factors around your particular setup. If you'd like to discuss this further, I would recommend creating a support ticket in our support system.

Regarding the show if macro, I am not quite as well-informed, but from what I have seen in the documentation, it's possible that the macro just works out of the box, as a viewport page view behaves very similar to a "normal" Confluence view.
