May 2024

I have uploaded some images as files and want to show these images on a page.

There seems no way to do it. When I click "Add image", the only thing that i can do is attach the same files again.

Also, it does not seem to be possible to refer to a image attachment from a different page.

Please advise!

Thank You

Andreas

Hi @Andreas Deimer and welcome to the Community,

this is indeed very annoying and therefore the feature request has loads of votes: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65344

Workaround: Download the latest version of the attachment and then readd it to the page. This at least "only" creates a new version and not a new attachment. Works the same if the new Upload is identical in name as the old one.

We have a Marketplace App that lets us edit the source code of the page, so we can insert new pictures referencing an attachement that way, but that is also really impractial.
