Show Issue wiki pages in Issue Filter

Ludovic Pitiot August 11, 2021

Hello,

We're currently working to interface correctly our Jira Software issues with Confluence.

Regarding that, some Issues in Jira have a link to a dedicated page on Confluence.
We would like ton show in a Confluence page, thanks to the Jira Issue Filter Macro, list of issues and fields and also the link to the corresponding Confluence page.

We've been trying to include Linked Issues field which shows only issues and not Wiki page link.

Would you have any recommendation to perform this behavior ?

Thanks,
Regards,

Ludovic

Hi @Ludovic Pitiot

Unfortunately this is not even possible in Jira, so it won't work in confluence.

There are some features requests already that you can vote for to give this priority:

Thanks

Fabian

Hi Fabian,

Thanks for your answer.

In fact the Confluence link exists into the Jira issues, then i'm not sure which part is not possible.

When do the linked page in issues will be accessible in Confluence issue filter fields ?

Thanks.
Ludovic

@Ludovic PitiotI know they exist in the issue fields. So it would make sense to have it available as a column.

I think the problem is that you can have 100s of mentions linked to a jira ticket and it will be very hard to put it in one column, just like the comments field.

If you want a hack, create an url customfield and paste the confluence link... then bring it in as a column value

For your question, that is a question for the atlassian product team to answer.
