We have several confluence sites which all seem to work ok. I just created a new site yesterday and am having 2 issues...
1. The main navigation colour does not extend to the top left of the screen - where the logo and site name is displayed. This is aways white only. See attached screen grab.
2. The page properties macro report does not work. I have double checked all settings including the parent page and label spelling, but nothing is displayed.
These both work fine in all other sites we have.
Any ideas?
Hello and welcome to the Community @Chris Michael
Hi Chris, I'd look at these as two separate issues. For the navigation color, check your Look and feel and Customize navigation settings against your working sites. Newer Confluence sites sometimes have slightly different UI behaviors regarding how the logo and header colors interact, so if the settings match exactly, you might just be seeing a newer navigation version that doesn't support the same styling.
Regarding the Page Properties Report, the most common problem are label mismatches, restricted pages, or simply that the pages are still in "draft" status. Since the site is so new, it could also be a temporary indexing lag. Try making a small edit to a source page and republishing it to see if that triggers the report to update. If that works, your configuration is correct and the system just needs a moment to catch up.
If neither issue clears up after a few hours, it's worth reaching out to Atlassian Support. There might be a specific glitch with how your new instance was provisioned, particularly with the indexing or navigation versioning.
Thanks Arkadiusz. Here is an update

Based on my experience, the Page Properties Macro can sometimes behave in unexpected ways. It was always like that.
