Setting Field to other Field

Is there a way to set value to the same value, for example, let same you need someone's name in different parts of the form and you want to populate it with the first time they input their Name. Been trying to use the confiform rules but can't seem to find the right way?

You should be using ConfiForms Field Definition Rules, and "Set Value" in particular

I figured it out.

But how does the filter form control use JavaScript before and after execution?
