Set up meeting for a future date

I would like to set up a meeting using the Confluence meeting template, and I want to set it up for some date in the future. When I create a meeting it does not give me an option to make it in the future - only today. So I have to waste time during the first few minutes of the meeting setting everything up - the agenda, the invitees, goals, etc. I usually have meetings lined up one after the other all morning so doing this earlier in the day is not an option. Recommendations?

Martin, you can pick any day you like for the meeting date on the meeting template from my test instance:

Didn't realize you can poke it and it becomes editable. It is obvious in hindsight!
