Set my custom Rovo agent as the default agent

I’d like the option to set my custom Rovo agent as the default agent, rather than always landing on the standard Rovo search page. It would also be helpful to pin specific agents to the Rovo sidebar (e.g., alongside Chat, History, and Agents). I often switch between multiple agents, and I rarely need the default search view, so having quicker access would make the workflow much smoother.

Hi Anastasija,

great request! Currently, Rovo doesn't support setting a custom agent as the default landing page or pinning specific agents directly to the sidebar alongside Chat, History, and Agents. 

The Rovo interface always opens to the standard search/chat view first. From there, users need to manually navigate to Agents → search or filter by My agents/Favorites to access custom agents. You can favorite frequently used agents for quicker access within the Agents list. 

Current Workarounds:

  • Favorite your agents: In Rovo Chat → Agents, click the star icon on your custom agent cards for faster filtering.
  • Browser extension: Use the Rovo browser extension for quick access to Agents from any tab.
  • Keyboard shortcut: In Confluence/Jira editors, type /ai to quickly surface agents.

that’s a really good idea! 

The best way to suggest a product improvement like this is to raise a support ticket with the Rovo team. From there, the support engineers can review your request and create an internal feature request on your behalf.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to https://support.atlassian.com/contact
  2. Select Technical issues and bugs
  3. Choose Rovo
  4. In the Summary field, describe your feature request

This way your idea will be properly tracked and visible to the product team for consideration in future updates.
