Server base url from localhost to wiki.domain name.org

I am new to confluence. I have installed confluence server on a windows server 2012 R2. Now I am accessing the site using localhost but I would like to change the base url to www.wiki.domainname.org. I keep getting error message that the server url is not the same as the one used to access confluence. Can you please help?

Can we know the steps taken to change the base URL?

 Hi Surren,

I am going to the general configuration settings and update the url. That is where I am getting the error message. So if I understand correctly, I need to update the context path on both the server.xml files? 

Please let me know. I am new to this and struggling a bit.
