Sending a email notification upon submission! PLEASE HELP I NEED AN ANSWER ASAP!!

im a student for the university at albany and i have a question. I wanted to find out is there a way to have confluence send some sort of instant email notification to verify that they recieved the submission to a user if he or she clicked on the submission button?

What do you mean with with "submission". I do not recall it from any terminology used in confluence.

Can you tell us what button you mean, maybe show us in a screenshot. :)

so my academic advisor is going to send me a picture. but basically she works for the university and works with the seniors that wish graduate, they go through a training program under her supervision within the university and uses blackboard to creates portfolios for students so when they complete all the training hours they need she updates the portfolios through blackboard, once she does that she takes these portfolios and sends them confluence so they can do a double verification that gets sent to the university registrar so it is verified that the students completed everything they need to graduate. one problem that she has is that when she submits these portfolios through the confluence it sends her to a page without any confirmation that she actually sent it, and wouldn't get an answer from the registrar two weeks later that she submitted them. She wanted to find a way if possible to have some sort of built in email notification within the submissions button that would email her asap  that she successfully submitted the portfolios and is currently being reviewed
