We need to find pages which exceed a threshold of number of child pages, top level, not all descendants.
That looks very promising! I will pass it on to our Confluence admins.
For some background, in our space (I am a space admin only), we use the Children Display macro and found that only 10 first level children will be shown. I took the issue to our Confluence support team and they replied that the limit was imposed to avoid issues arising from the macro being used on many pages where the number of children is very high. I want to advise Confluence support to find pages where the number of children are needlessly high and recommend to the space admins that they organize their content in more reasonable structures.
Thank you.
