We use the live search macro to display search results for pages within our confluence space.  We need a way to also allow the user to search within Jira issues of the Jira project which is linked to the space.  Currently users have to execute the search in the confluence page to look for pages, then move to applicable jira project and repeat the search.  This is not very practical for user adoption.  I am fine having two search boxes (one for confluence, another for Jira), and I am fine if clicking on the search result takes you to Jira.

Is this at all possible?

Hello Max,

We currently have a feature request for this below:

Please vote on the request above, and watch it in order to be alerted to any progress or updates.

For the time being, your users will need to go to Jira in order to search for Jira issues, or when editing a page can insert the Jira issues macro with the desired JQL query.

Regards,

Shannon
