Search Bar Not Working

I am trying to use the Search Bar and when I try to search for any page nothing comes up. So then I tried to look for a specific Space and as I type I can see it but once I get to the 3 letter it goes away like it does recognize it. Please see the attached.

I select to filter by space. I'm looking for NFDMS...As I type in NF I see it but once I type NFD it goes away. And if I'm searching for a space that is not in my recent list nothing comes up all all.

Hello there!

As I understand, when you search for a specific space (NFDMS User Guide), the search fails right after you insert the third character. Is that correct?

We can try to reindex your instance:

1. Schedule a instance downtime
   1. Make sure that users are not accessing the instance, this can hinder the reindex process
2. Click Cog Icon > General Configuration
3. Search for Content Indexing in the left hand menu
4. Click to Rebuild
5. Wait until the process finishes
6. Check if the issue persists

I tried to replicate the issue locally in Confluence 6.14.2 but was ultimately unable to.

Could you clarify a few points for us?

1. Does this happen with other spaces as well?
2. Has this worked at some point?
3. Was there any kind of change applied to your instance?
4. What version of Confluence are you running?
