Hi,

Iam trying to setup SSL for our Confluence data center installation in Azure. Have tried adding certificate as part of the installation step . Had given a CName , PFX key and the installation was successful but when I look at the public Ip address it still says Azure-generated DNS name ( conf-appgtwyip-xxxxxxxxxx )

The certificate has been installed successfully because when I try to access the url with https it gives a certificate error with my actual registered domain name.

The question I have is  how do I get ssl to work while using Confluence Data center

Hi @Dev Vinod ,

usually for Datacenter, SSL would be implemented on your reverse proxy / load balancer, with Apache or Nginx for example.

It would be easier for you to setup as you won't have to deploy a certificate on all your nodes, only on your proxy server.

Let me know if you have any questions,
