Rich Text Editor in Confluence Duplicates Images After Saving Page

I’m running into an odd problem in Confluence when using the rich text editor. After editing a page and clicking save, some images and embedded media randomly get duplicated on the page of my website [edited - link removed]. It doesn’t happen every time, but often enough to cause formatting issues.

I’ve tried refreshing the page and clearing cache, but the issue still comes back occasionally.

Has anyone faced something similar or knows what might be causing it?

@Mr Blogger what browser are you using?  How stable is the internet connection you are on when it happens?  Do you use a VPN?

Check the page's attachment page to find out whether the attachments are actually doubled or if it's just a visual bug.

Expanding on @Brant Schroeder's answer,  If the images are actually duplicated attachments, check if the same thing is happening if you use Confluence in your browser's incognito (private) mode. There might be a browser extenstion issue so this will help to isolate the cause.
