Hello, I'm Dmitry, and I'm a business analyst in BLAKIT LLC.

I have read the article about requirements tracing in Confluence.

Tracing should be done as follows:

  1. Write all the requirements in the table and add an internal ID for each requirement. https://take.ms/nFYox
  2. Add the “Search Results” macro and find the internal ID in the whole space to see where this requirement is used. https://take.ms/8be52

I need 'Search results' macro for tracing requirements. But this macro is depricated for Confluence cloud already.

I see the alternative method (in Confluence documentation): 'Create a normal link to search results page directly for your keyword(s)'. But I don't see how it can help me with my question.

What can you advise me, colleagues?

Hello Dmitry,

Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to meet you!

You can use a 3rd party add-on from Atlassian Marketplace for this. There's one called CQL Search that I think could help you!

The description for the add-on is:

Powerfully search for and filter content using CQL, also embed search results

Please feel free to test it, and let us know if you have any questions about that.

Regards,

Shannon
