Hi

I have excel "source to target data" mapping requirement document.  The excel has about 300-400 rows and 20 odd columns. I wanted to see if I can create a epic with this excel and then create 4-5 stories to point to this epic. The stories will have slice of these rows, depending on the need. e.g. 1-100 rows be part of one story, 101-300 would be another story etc.

I can use the excel macro to create the epic. Is there any way to track these slices back to epic without copy pasting the slice of the excel into each story?

Hi,

You may be better off using the CSV importer directly from Excel to Jira rather than transferring the table to Confluence first.

Please let me know if the functionality described in this article suits your case: Importing data from CSV.

Thanks,

Ann
