I would like to know if JIRA can perform following tasks and can provide reports giving following information:
Create New requests/tickets
Owner of the ticket to be displayed on dashboard
Due date displayed ?
ticket status : does it provide information about Completed tasks, Closed date, Open/in progress ,Re-opened etc in the dashboard view?
Archiving tickets/tasks is possible or not?
user based access controls can be provided or not?
queue based differentiation can be done and displayed on dashboard?
Can it provide the complete audit trail of the ticket created?

It does almost all of that, off-the-shelf.
Exceptions - archiving is not really there, and although the issue status is recorded, it's not easy to extract the dates.
