Hi All,
I've looked around and didn't find anything that actually addresses my query.
Basically, I want a report to show me how many pages a person has created or updated in a certain period across a couple of Confluence Spaces.
Analytics unfortunately does not help because we are also using automation+ROVO to create most pages. This is causing problems because the "creator" of a page is not the initiator of the automation and this seems to be a known issue.
Thanks
George
Uh, this is an interesting question 👀
There's this bug report related to Confluence Analytics: CONFCLOUD-81082: Confluence Analytics records presenting discrepancies between number of created pages but it doesn't fully represent what your concern is.
Maybe you could switch to using the owner parameter instead of the creator? 🤔
The catch with automation is also that it doesn't support 'User who triggered the event' as a rule actor (see CONFCLOUD-81227) so that's not an option as well...
Rovo teams are quite active when it comes to pushing new updates, so it might be worth trying to reach out to Atlassian Support as well to see if they can forward this feedback to Rovo app team as well.
Cheers,
Tobi
I was wondering if it might be possible to track a proxy - add a label during the automation process.
There are also various manager apps for pages, spaces but they typically work on a space level.
Or tapping into API?

Hi @George Abdo ,
When pages are created or updated via Automation or Rovo, Confluence records the automation user as the creator/updater, not the person who triggered it. Because of that, Analytics can’t accurately report “who really created or updated” pages in these cases.
At the moment, there’s no native way to retroactively report on the initiating user for automated page actions.
