Rename a space key

is it possible to rename a space id?

As @Nic suggested moving pages is an option. You can also use the copy space plugin and that retains most of space configuration and is a faster workaround. Haven't tried it in the later version but worth a try.

No. You can create a new key and move all the pages from your old key though.
