When using the Recently Updated Macro in Confluence Server, I would like the macro to display (if applicable) the comment that the updater would put in "what was changed".  This comment shows up on the "Change History" macro when that macro is inserted on any particular page.

Hi @Ed Dyer , welcome to the Community!

Since it is not possible to display said comments in the Recently Updated macro, you could try the following workaround.
Please note that this is only a technical approximation and is unsightly compared to the Recently Updated macro and requires more space on the page. Also, a prerequisite is that all pages to be viewed have a label.

If this is the case, wrap the Change History macro with the Excerpt macro on all pages. On the overview page, place the Content by Label macro. Configure this with the appropriate label. In the macro's options, set Sort by to modified and Display excerpts to Simple.

Hope that helps!

Kind regards,

Nicolai

Thanks for the answer.  We already use the Excerpt macro on most pages, and as each page can only effectively have one of those, we aren't able to use that here as a solution.  Thanks though!
