Re-order Blog posts - revisited

Hi all, new member here. I did a search on re-ordering blog posts, and saw something about voting but that was over a year ago, and I cannot tell if it died or not.

My problem -

I am on a 3rd party patching team and i use confluence blogs to post what we are going to be patching or updating. Unfortunately the problem comes at the end of the month, when I am creating the blog, let's say at the end of May, but the blog pertains to the first or second week of June.  When I post, the blog appears under the month of may in the nav tree. Not June, so people are missing the information. Example below

I did find at the bottom a date selector, and it will let me back-date but does not let me put a future date.

Has anyone seen or come up with an answer for this?

Note: I am an end user, i do not have rights to do anything on the admin side of the house. however if there is a fix, i can put in a request to initiate the change from my end.
