Public RSS Feed

Deleted user February 6, 2018

I need to anonymously share an anonymously available space's blog as an RSS feed.

It looks like this used to be possible...and that there was a goofy workaround for Confluence 5 and older (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-21601), but not finding a fix for Confluence 6+ that we are currently using.

Anyone know of officially supported steps for doing this in a current version?

Thanks!

Hi Nick,

The documentation seems to say that anonymous RSS feeds cannot be configured through the UI, but they do still function if you remove "&os_authType=basic" from the feed URL after it is generated. Is that the workaround (it's from the bug you linked) that did not work on your 6.x instance? What was the result when you tried it? Was there an error message?

I look forward to learning more about your case.

Thanks,

Ann
