I've read a lot of articles here, but didn't really find the answer. Is it possible to find the confluence pages / articles with google, when they are set to public / anonymous access?
It can be. Google can see the pages and would index them. But a lot of people add a "robots" file to their server which asks search engines not to index (or only index parts of the site) - Google and most other search engines respect that.
Wow, thanks for the quick answer!! But how does the robots file on my server has an influence on the pages in confluence?

It has no influence on confluence pages. It's a file with a set of rules in it for telling search engines what you would like them to limit their indexing activity to.
