Project Roadmap

Angelo Nigro April 28, 2020

Hi, I am contacting you in order to find out if there is a way for making the Project Roadmap Macro autofill with the info contained in the action items.

In the template we use there are many Expands with Action items in there and then the Roadmap which should graphically show them..Is there a way to make it an automatic process without having to do the job twice?

Many thanks,

Angelo

Hello there @Angelo Nigro !

I would like to understand a little more about the situation that you described. I am not sure about which Roadmap Macro we are talking about. Here we have both of what is natively available for Confluence:

The Jira Roadmap Macro should automatically add everything related to the selected project in Jira, according to the documentation:

The “pure” Roadmap Macro does not have a similar feature, as we can verify here:

This is because those two macros have different purposes. The Jira Roadmap Macro is used to display the already existing Roadmap. The Roadmap Planner Macro serves the purpose of planning a roadmap.

With the above in mind, I would like to ask this:

  1. Would it be possible for you to share screenshots of the macro being referenced?

When taking the screenshots, be careful not to disclose any sensitive information. Our community is open and everyone can see everything posted here.

Looking forward to your reply! Let us hear from you.
