While using Project Configurator plugin for project export & import, does it take care of Jira version, custom plugin version, customfield, custom workflow and other configurations?

Hi Younous,

Thank you for your question.

I can confirm that Project Configurator does not handle ensuring that plugin versions  or Jira versions are the same between the source and target instances.

This means that you will need to ensure that the source and target Jira versions are the same versions and that the plugins are installed in both instances with the same versions before undertaking a migration.

You can also see what plugins Project Configurator supports migrating the configuration or issue data for inside of the documentation page located here.

Finally, I can confirm that you can see a full list of all of the configuration objects that Project Configurator supports inside of the documentation pages located here and here.

I hope this information helps.

Regards,

Kristian.
