Problem publishing Confluence through Juniper SSL VPN

Laurent T February 7, 2013

Hello,

We are publishing our intranet Atlassian Confluence 4.3.6 through the SSL VPN Juniper IVE 7.2R5 in web core mod.

This portal rewritte URL. Howewer, some css are not rewritted. Consequently, the rich text editor doesn't appear correctly when editing creating an article.

Is someone has already meet and solve this configuration?

Thank you in advanced

Laurent

Does this problem occur just with the CSS? Or there are others links (images for example) presenting this problem?

If you have a separeted css file, creating a redirect directly to this file on your VPN/proxy should help. Firebug can be of help to look at this.

Thank you for your answer.

This problem appears only with the css of the rich text editor and the css of the personal notification.

I can't creat a redirect directly to this file because the VPN SSL rewritte all URL. My problem is that the content of these css is not rewritted as other files...

The problem is for sure in the side of the VPN configuration but i don't find any solution.

Hi,

you have to configure confluence as a "Passthrough Proxy" ressource in the SSLVPN, in addition to this enable "Host-Header forwarding" and allow CustomHeaders.

With this settings confluence is running fine except some minor problems
