Good evening, I am doing a high level presentation to our VP tomorrow about the possibilities of Confluence. I would prefer to come up with my own material and focus on the collaboration side, wiki, usability of your product. Do you have any recommended sources, images, video's you recommend? We implemented Office 365 recently, going to have SharePoint and Teams in use this year but feel that your product has a more intuitive feel to it.
I am going to attempt at creating a few spaces for the first time so I can walk through some of the features using my trial.
I believe we would host the server, we are a VDI environment but not using 64bit terminals. Not sure that would have to be upgraded or not.
thanks for your time in advance either way, have a great day.
Hi, welcome to the Community!
I think the marketing material at https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence is a great place to start - there's a concise video on the page going over what Confluence is and showing how different people on your team might use it. The page also goes over some of the most common templates folks use and provides links for further reading.
Given that you've used Office 365, I might recommend you take a look at the Cloud offering which you can try for free - the advantage of Cloud being that we do the heavy lifting of system administration for you, and you always get the latest & greatest features.
Let me know if you have any specific questions you need answered! I might not be able to respond before your presentation tomorrow, but I can definitely help you answer any questions you or your VP might have.
Cheers,
Daniel
