How do I delete my Atlassian account? When I click on the delete my account button in Account Preferences, a pop up says:
Your account can't be deleted because:
What does that mean? Very frustrating/shady trying to delete an account here.
Hello @Ivo Marrachinho
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
You can find guidance on the steps needed to delete your Atlassian Cloud user account here:

Please let us know if you have additional questions.
Hi. I have tried all that, it doesn't work. I keep getting the pop up with the message that I posted above and it won't let me delete my account. I don't know what "active entitlements" means and how to get rid of them. This is not a managed account, it's something that I registered individually but as it turns out, I don't need it and just want to delete my account.
Super frustrating.

Hello Ivo,
The short answer to this is for you to contact Atlassian directly to get help with cancelling any Entitlements associated with your account. You can contact their licensing team through this page:
https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing#/
As a user community we don't have any direct access to help you resolve this. We can only offer advice and guidance on steps you can take.
If you want to try to self-serve, here is some guidance.
Billing Account Administration
Log in to https://admin.atlassian.com/billing
You may see a list of Billing Accounts. These will be Billing Accounts where you have some level of administrator access. If there a Billing Account list you will need to drill into each for the next steps.
After a Billing Account is selected, then in the new page from the options on the left select Subscriptions. This will show entitlements (product subscriptions) for Apps associated with the Billing account, under tabs labeled Active and Inactive.
In the Active tab click the toggle above the list to Show free apps
For items in the Active tab, click on each one to display the details. You should find an ellipsis (three-dots) button in the upper right corner of the details page.
From there you can Deactivate the App, cancelling your subscription.
Subscription cancellation takes some time to process. In the interim you may not be able to delete your account.
Some apps don't support self-service cancellation yet. Goals is one such app. You will have to contact Atlassian through the page I mentioned above to get such app subscriptions cancelled.
