Plan to upgrade confluence 6.2.4 to 6.6

Hi Team,

We have a plan to upgrade the confluence version 6.2.4 to 6.6.

so we would like to know below points,

1. Are there any dependency plugins or add-on ? how do i know what are dependencies of add-on or plugins.

2. what do we need to take care before start the upgrade to new version?

3. Do we need to upgrade Synchrony as well as part of confluence upgrade ? Are there any dependencies plugins or add-ons?

4. please let us know if we need to take care other than above three points ?

This upgrade (from 6.2.4 to 6.6) should be pretty straightforward however it is always good to do a test on a test instance. If you do not have it I recommend to create one. Overall for Confluence you follow that step by step guide

Plugins and addons is a separate thing to upgrade. Just check if all that you are using are compatible with new version before upgrading. Overall you would learn and see all potential problem when you decide to use that test system. Below guide might be helpful also..
