Issue:

Getting permission issues when trying to to host/view the our public space.
Specifically when trying to make our personal confluence website load inside another website.

Quick notes:

  1. The standard confluence website loads perfectly fine when hosting it in our website inside a Div window
  2. Our public space page gets blocked due to "permission issues" when inside a Div window
  3. The permissions are set as "everyone" on that space can read/view but not comment, edit or delete
  4. If the website/link is opened from its own window there is not issues.

Questions:

  1. What are the permissions causing this error?
  2. Would having the space public take slots from our personal confluence spaces available?
  3. How can we have that specific part of our confluence be available for the public?

here are some images showing what I mean about the confluence website loading normally, while our public space in confluence website doesn't; also an edited image as to what we want to achieve.

Hello there!

It looks like you want to display Confluence within an iFrame, is that correct?

If that is the case, this is not available for Confluence Cloud as it requires the modification of instance files. Her you can see some of the differences between Confluence Cloud and Server:

Functional differences in Confluence Cloud

Further, we also have a feature request that aims at enabling this feature in few selected sites. You can check it here:

CONFCLOUD-40640 | Add system property to allow for whitelisting domain(s) when clickjacking protection is disabled

Now, having Spaces set to public access should not count towards your license count due to the fact they are open for anyone to access. Meaning users will not need to login to your instance for this to be possible. You can check a little bit more about this here:

Setting Up Public Access - Confluence Cloud

Let us know if there is anything else we could address for you!
