Permission and Restrictions

I'd like to create a space for a resource to able to create, amend documents and so forth. For all other spaces I require this resource to have read access only for some of the Spaces, is this possible?

Hi there,

You can restrict all other spaces for the user to View only.

Have a look at this:

• Space Permissions Overview
• Assign Space Permissions

I would set VIEW only for all the other spaces, and in the space in particular they should edit, you can give them edit permissions.

You will also want to make sure to update the Default Space Permissions in your Administration panel as well. This will ensure that new spaces will give the user proper permissions.
